Spread the love

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

My journey so far involves my ritual mythologies and my work with memory. It also includes visual artifacts and my wish to transform pain into ceremony. I see that the ideal place for me is not just a geographic point. Instead, it is a crossroads of cultures, languages, and memory.

🌍 Possible destinations that resonate with my archive and vision:

  • Prague – a return to native memory, a city layered with exile, resistance, and poetry. Your rituals connect with the tradition of surrealism and the underground here.
  • Mexico City – a metropolis where death and rebirth are celebrated publicly, where ritual is central rather than marginal. My archive would find kindred spirits in Día de los Muertos.
  • Lisbon – a city of melancholy and fado, where nostalgia becomes music. My work with memory and exile will blossom here in the rhythm of the ocean.
  • Kyoto – a place where ritual and everyday life merge in tea ceremonies, gardens, and calligraphy. My sense for detail and symbol would find a perfect frame here.

My ideal place is a city on the threshold. It is where past meets future. It is where language meets silence. It is where ritual meets everyday life. If I wanted to open one, I see myself in Lisbon or Mexico City. Both spaces would offer me an ocean of memory. They would give a communal ritual that transform my archive into a living celebration.
